What The Shrub! is a web application in development for professional planting designers. Shape borders, divide them into plant objects, assign plants and build a clear planting plan in one visual workflow.
For Shrub’s sake.
What it is
A planting plan starts before the final plant list. What The Shrub! is being developed to bring spatial design and plant selection together in one dedicated application.
The application is being developed as standalone SaaS. It is intended to support both plant choice and the spatial development of a planting plan, without depending on one specific CAD workflow.
The workflow
Build the spatial planting design and keep plant choices connected to where they belong.
Define the planting area and divide it into adjoining plant objects. Each object becomes a clear, editable part of the planting design.
Browse plants using recognisable photography and assign a plant to each object. Plant choices remain connected to their position in the design.
Bring plant objects, botanical names and quantities together in a plan that can be understood by designers, contractors and clients.
Made for planting designers
What The Shrub! is being developed for garden designers, landscape architects and experienced planting professionals who want to combine plant knowledge with spatial design.
Still in development. The images on this website are concept visuals based on the intended product workflow, not final product screenshots. Features, interface and scope may change as development continues.
